When a group of criminals and dirty cops are alerted to the poacher’s whereabouts, the warden and the poacher team up to fight back and escape across the treacherous lake ...。卢卡斯无意间在奶奶的老房子里得到一块水晶，意外来到了一座满是恐龙的小岛上，眼前的一切景象都令其不解，直到他遇到一个自称来自1950年代的怪异女孩凯特。原来两人被困在这个不知是何空间的地方，在此生活数年的凯特醉心研究恐龙，不料两人外出时却遭土著人追捕被抓。卢卡斯在同样被抓之人口中意外得知水晶里蕴含的巨大能量，在其指引下历经艰险找到水晶群，利用其能量最终与凯特重返现代，而凯特正是自己奶奶，凯特的研究也引起世界瞩目，获得了诺贝尔奖。 影片立意新奇，时间旅行、史前生物无不抓人眼球，恐龙口下逃生颇有种侏罗纪世界的感觉，两个小主角清新自然的演技加之关于恐龙最新研究下艳丽羽毛的细节都为影片增色不少。。
