A group of students who are participating in a university's summer science camp are drawn into an incredible quagmire of conflicts, ranging from the relatively simple conflict between an engaging and forthright young teacher and his older manipulative colleague, to a contest pitting political correctness against free scientific inquiry. Despite the murkiness of some of the issues in the latter conflict, the students pitch in enthusiastically on what they believe to be the side of righteousness, and passions rise to fever pitch. ~ Clarke Fountain, All Movie Guide。剧情叙述公元994年的苏格兰城堡，有一群帮助人类捍卫城堡的夜行神龙，他们日间为石像、夜间为神龙，由Goliath所领导。但是却因为人类的阴谋，神龙们几乎被摧毁殆尽。仅存的神龙虽然躲过一劫，但却沉睡了千年之久。当他们醒来时发现世界已经变了，他们如今身处在纽约曼哈顿的现代都会，是由百万富翁 Xanatos将整个城堡移建过来，他希望这群神龙能为他所用。但是历经人类背叛险遭灭族的夜行神龙，如今还会再度相信人类吗？。昌王府老王爷病故了，前来王府吊唁的官员不等奉茶就纷纷告辞而去。老夫人心里明白这是她膝下无儿不能承袭王位的缘故。皇帝允许老夫人为女择婿使昌王后嗣有人。女儿朱玉倩暗喜，偷偷让心上人樊玉庭进府求婚。可是结婚之日却是王连甲冒名为婿，皇上让新婿进京谢恩，王连甲接下圣旨。朱玉倩十分绝望，她碰见樊玉廷，准备连夜进京向皇上说明真相。当樊玉廷闯入大厅，痛斥王连甲骗婚欺君的罪行。老夫人用毒酒害死了樊玉廷，朱玉倩也含恨随之而去。。
