纳什是个患有PTSD的退伍老兵，他时常出现关于妻子的幻觉，这也导致他什么都干不好过上了流浪汉般的生活。这天，CIA的阿什本和卢克找到了纳什，说了解纳什是从名叫“项目”的组织中逃出来的。这个组织由博库什领导，他被大家尊为“神者”，而其他成员则都是退伍之后患有PTSD的军人们。政府不管这些人，他们又没有过多的生活能力，于是博库什便将他们聚集起来，培养成一支强大的军队。近年来他的扩张、洗脑、充盈武器库让政府感到了威胁决定消灭这个组织。但组织被严防死守，密不透风，几次袭击都没能成功，能从中逃出来的纳什成了特别的存在，有了他的帮助，就能进入到组织内部。纳什犹豫了，因为他了解博库什的凶狠。但他还有一个牵挂，就是逃跑时生死不明的妻子，他总需要一个答案。于是，纳什跟着大部队一起行动，狡猾的博库什转移了级别高的成员又设置了迷药、人肉炸弹等陷阱。但纳什还是凭借对博库什的...。A deserted pond.
