Then eventually, after much confusion and chaos, the righteous anger of people changes to pure ou...。影厅内外灯亮起，爆米花香气四溢，又到了帝国戏院的营业时间。过着单调规律生活的外场经理希拉里，中年独居、固定就医、跟主管偷情、从不看电影，日复一日麻木不已。新来的年轻同事斯蒂芬对一切充满好奇，希拉里深受他吸引，从工作情况聊到戏院的辉煌过去，屋顶的废弃大厅成为两人的秘密基地。暧昧情愫升级为恋情，希拉里的人生有了新转机，但自己的情绪仍不稳定，同事也察觉到不对劲……。
