This building in a bourgeois neighborhood of a Spanish city is the setting for the adventures of the different characters: the Serna famil...。这是一个被长期闲置的舞台，住着京剧团、话剧团、杂技团、群艺馆、画院的五户人家，他们嬉称自己为“台上人家”。“台上人家”中有古稀之年的老画家、有曾经名噪一时的京剧演员、有提前退休的群艺馆长、有下海经商的服装设计、有演员改行的电视导演、有大龄独身的女作家、有魔术师出身的穴头、有在歌厅赶场演出的歌手、有没戏可演的演员、有进城闯世界的小保姆，他们有的为衣食劳碌，有的为事业奔忙，有的为前途困惑，有的被爱情所累，有的为发财拼命。他们有热情、有牢骚、有苦恼、有欢乐。他们是邻居又是朋友，当然也免不了闹一点小摩擦，逗点小心眼。当本剧结束的时候，这个舞台要重新扩建，这里的人们也走向了生活的新起点。。
